Club Fest Spring ‘24

Club fest was a great success as we saw around 50 new members signing up. Thank you to everyone who showed up and we hope you had a fun time. We truly enjoyed all the intense 3+0 games with you all (sike, except the ones we lost >:| ). There was plenty of merch being handed out to prospective chess club members such as Chess.com sponsored pens, wristbands, key chains and stickers. Chess.com pawn plushies and SIG sponsored sun hats were a special prize reserved for visitors who beat us!

We invite all our new and old members alike to attend chess club meets every Friday from 6 - 9 PM in Phillips 203 (room is subject to change so be sure to join our Discord server on the home page to stay updated) for friendly banter and fun games. We are also hoping to arrange many more pre-funded tournaments this semester and encourage all passionate chess players to participate. We’re excited for what the remainder of the semester holds for us and appreciate your support!
